Since I was a kid I was fascinated by acting. At first, yeah, being in the spotlight appealed to me. This even though standing in front of a crowd seemed scary. Over time the craft slowly eluded me as I grew up. Maybe I forgot, shamed to say. But somehow occurrences in my life slowly gave me a better understanding and taught me how to act. Simply put, I learned to put on different roles as a result of being a kid who grew up moving from place to place. I didn't like it, adapting, all the time. But looking back, the pain might've helped meg grow. So fine, my past amounted to learning. But what about the present? Hmm, well, I can't stop walking. I don't know all the answers. At this present moving forward seems to be the reasonable choice. But at this point having direction is key. Though I do not know the future in detail, one will be made as we go. Now I'm making specific steps which include; learning about the craft, Applying to jobs on the market, building a portfolio and resume, increasing number of contacts and finally, living life. To be honest this last point, living life is what taught me what I know.
Today is Friday the 28th of August 2015. My accomplishes so far are few. Some extra roles, YouTube and Facebook bits and building a resume. I posted my profile to imdb, which is kinda cool.
People can actually find me there now!
What are my dreams then? For starters, doing that first step, applying for a bigger role, so if you can hook me up somehow, that'd be great. I could need more contacts. Hopefully I'll end up having a two part role such as Quentin Tarrantino with emphasis on the acting. He always amazed with maybe especially the dialogues. With skilled actors to boot. I fantasize playing the part of Samuel L Jackson or Butch. And I do believe it's possible, for me. That's my mindset, aim high, and maybe achieve something even higher. If you can dream it, you can achieve it. So that's what I do, dream, and in one area of my life I feel I've accomplished this. Namely inventing. But to hell with it if I can't do what I love most. This said with no claim to be the most accomplished actor in the world. But I keep dreaming, dreaming the exact opposite of a nightmare.
It's a good dream.
